For centuries lifestyle has remained relatively constant in my hometown Urumiyeh . Until a few decades we had a life style based on nature and our historical culture . But The waves of modernization and development destroyed all our culture and common heritage , Our culture was a mix of ancient habits and human natural needs .Our common culture were mad by Turkish Muslim people , Christian ( Assyrian and Armenian ) people and Jews people.

hard winters people needed wood and other forms of energy to keep them warm . Also they need food to continue their life. Cold and long winters üere a good opportunity to cluster families around himself and share their experiences . Narration and storytelling was very popular .
The efforts to collecting winter supplies were started since last days of summer to middle of autumn.For days , the women and girls tied garlic and onions into bundles and hung them from a wide beam alongside the other aromatic clusters. Also Grapes and quinces were hug as same style. ( Milaghe or milax - میلاق ) .Molasses ( Doshab ) were made by grapes jouic . People has made a lot of pickles and produced dried fruits .The mothers fried sheep's tails until the fat melted , packed meat and sheep's oil in large earthenware crocks and sealed them with thick layers of fat . They also produced earthenware cheeses ( Köpə pəniri) .Potatoes and apples were stored in home cellars . Tomato pasta's was cooked at home .
